In 2010, Ben Bergeron founded CompTrain to push elite athletes to new heights in the CrossFit Games. As a coach, Ben’s focus on competitive excellence quickly gained traction among athletes of all levels, drawn to Ben's unique programming methods. With the sport still coming of age, there weren’t any true examples to follow — so Ben & CompTrain set a new bar for what it means to train with purpose and intent.
CompTrain rapidly gained traction as a go-to source for elite CrossFit training. CompTrain became known for its focus on preparing athletes for the CrossFit Games. Ben’s athletes, including names like Mat Fraser and Katrin Davidsdottir, began to dominate the CrossFit scene. With its roots in competition, CompTrain offered programming that wasn't just for the elite but also attracted athletes of all levels seeking structured, effective training to elevate their performance.
CompTrain solidified its reputation as a powerhouse in the CrossFit world. Under Ben Bergeron's coaching, CompTrain athletes clinched 10x world champion titles, showcasing the program's effectiveness. Ben's methods, rooted in a combination of mental toughness, structured programming, and comprehensive training strategies, helped shape some of the fittest athletes on Earth, setting a new benchmark for what CrossFit coaching could achieve.
